Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes in the game, Luis Andino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zeledon Ilazki having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sportivo Mela Banco defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. The Sportivo Mela Banco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Ilazki should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 8thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sportivo Mela Banco's keeper Zeledon Ilazki was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 13 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Zeledon Ilazki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Ilazki having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Ilazki. That made the score 6-0 in the 25 minute of play. Zeledon Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st play minute Felix Montes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. 7-0. With a little luck, Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Zeledon Ilazki made a huge save. Zeledon Ilazki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Ilazki. That made the score 10-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Seguinus made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Andino in the 57th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Zeledon Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. When Domingo Torres fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Mela Banco's protests and gave Domingo Torres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Sportivo Mela Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Torres to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zeledon Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rodolfo Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Mela Banco's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Sportivo Mela Banco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. After having played for 84 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Ilazki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. Primitivo Andino made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. In the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
