After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Jackson Nascimento got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 12th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Sílvio Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Pires. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jorge Sainz made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Camilo Franco. In the 80th match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Jaime Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Carvallo made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's César Severo. Jorge Sainz made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's José Paulo Almeida. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rômulo Miranda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Carvallo, made in the 90th minute of the game. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie prevented a goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Pires. ATHLETICO PRaiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Sílvio Pires in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay played a much better game than ATHLETICO PRaiano and deserved their victory. The ATHLETICO PRaiano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
