The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's Metodi Deyanov got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th match minute, 『挑战者』Wolf Totem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庄荣天 to maneuver through the defense. 叶扬晨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. If Maximiano Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute of the match, Maximiano Molina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 14th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶扬晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. 叶扬晨 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Maximiano Molina tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 叶扬晨 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 叶扬晨. 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Maximiano Molina struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 『挑战者』Wolf Totem. The 『挑战者』Wolf Totem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 白剑竞 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 叶扬晨 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 51st minute of the match. 叶扬晨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play forced 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's goalkeeper 叶扬晨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 乔泉树 hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Maximiano Molina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 叶扬晨 having to interfere. 『挑战者』Wolf Totem made a substitution. 倪阳政 replaced 白剑竞. In the 75th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶扬晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 倪阳政 in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 80th minute of play forced 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's goalkeeper 叶扬晨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's 叶扬晨 got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 叶扬晨 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, 倪阳政 put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 『挑战者』Wolf Totem throughout the match.
