Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Attilio Perna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Otsando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Otsando, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Attilio Perna came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Tallia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Graneros getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Romeo Frascuelo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Attilio Perna in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Attilio Perna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 32nd minute of the match. Feliberto Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Perna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Graneros's Feliberto Otsando in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Feliberto Otsando made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Christian Lesardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Feliberto Otsando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Otsando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Graneros getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bogumil Dombrowski hit a great ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Perna having to interfere. Attilio Perna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Tallia. It was a penalty for Uruguay! Joaquin Gayoso went to the wrong direction when Ye Zheng Ming was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 92nd minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Ye Zheng Ming sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso skillfully saved the ball. Graneros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
