In the 28th minute, Rodolfo Urki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The funebreros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Adan Polentzi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored funebreros's protests and gave Adan Polentzi a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes funebreros got a freekick which was hit by Adan Polentzi.

The supporters of funebreros booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. funebreros's Gerrit Kaptein was substituted for Adan Polentzi. In the 59th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Urki in the 61st minute of the match. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. funebreros's Randy Gultom was substituted for Rodolfo Urki. After a defensive mix-up in funebreros's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manos Manteca came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. funebreros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
