The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Rolfsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ofspor's Asbjørn Sundal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Rolfsson in the 59th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Ofspor's Rune Rolfsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Asbjørn Sundal having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asbjørn Sundal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rune Rolfsson took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Selman Özinal scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Rolfsson in the 94th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ofspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
