In the 21stth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ofspor's Asbjørn Sundal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ofspor's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Asbjørn Sundal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asbjørn Sundal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Ofspor's Incendio Weidt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asbjørn Sundal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Selman Özinal who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ofspor's Selman Özinal to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asbjørn Sundal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Incendio Weidt made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selman Özinal in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asbjørn Sundal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montes's late challenge caught a Ofspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Selman Özinal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Selman Özinal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asbjørn Sundal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. Abdurrahim Bahar hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Rune Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ofspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Rolfsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Selman Özinal who took care of the corner kick. Selman Özinal struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ofspor. Asbjørn Sundal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. Asbjørn Sundal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of the match. The Ofspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
