Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cumhur Tanacan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Cumhur Tanacan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cumhur Tanacan hit a great ball. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Cumhur Tanacan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cumhur Tanacan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Ulysses Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Willetts in the 16th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumhur Tanacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lee Kerr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kemalettin Torhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Kemalettin Torhan took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lee Kerr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira. But to his dismay, Ulysses Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Kemalettin Torhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 50th minute. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 51st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Ulysses Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Ulysses Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Torhan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kemalettin Torhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Kemalettin Torhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulysses Madureira was slow to take the kick. During this time Clapham Comets F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Ulysses Madureira made a great header on Clapham Comets F.C.'s corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save.
