Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petru Nisporeanu made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 44th minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Petru Nisporeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
