Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Guido Vissenaeken reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 1-0. Guido Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 40th minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Will Deman during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 45th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jaspar Van Den Broeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaspar Van Den Broeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnauld Van Impe might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnauld Van Impe ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 56th minute of the match. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Mastache made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brugge United's Will Deman. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Baia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Baia having to interfere. Vítor Baia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Secada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Brugge United were awarded a corner. Jaspar Van Den Broeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
