In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Husky fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Peru a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luz Tejedor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo. 0-1. Peru were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after C.A. Husky's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajar Indrekson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play forced C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajar Indrekson. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Husky's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jago Urquijo came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Peru got a corner. C.A. Husky's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jago Urquijo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice moves Kajar Indrekson could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Gonçalo Caires hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajar Indrekson. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tallia Incera in the 51st minute of the match. The throw-in from Shahron Seah in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 87th minute Tallia Incera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jago Urquijo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 89th minute. After 91 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nabar Zafrilla was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Husky's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Shahron Seah managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
