Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcial Roldanillo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Marcial Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Roldanillo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Orlando Tafalla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Colombia:s Pedro Manzanares showed great skill when he stopped Agustin Silvino:s penalty. In the 17th minute Marcial Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pincha FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abram Sarmiento 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Pincha FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carlos Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Quentin saved Pincha FC from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's Rodrigo Mendebal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute of the match Pincha FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergio Macerio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marcial Roldanillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 60th minute of play. After 64 minutes Pincha FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Colombia's Luis Cazalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Santino Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Quentin came out of the goal and Santino Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Darren McDonald with Rodrigo Mendebal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Quentin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Ignacio Mastache. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Pincha FC's German Merexildo was substituted for Agustin Silvino. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
