The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Denis Gipuzkoa in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, ARLO FC's Denis Gipuzkoa got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, ARLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Denis Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARLO FC. In the 29th minute Eric Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Denis Gipuzkoa in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Denis Gipuzkoa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian Sancho scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ARLO FC's David Meringgi got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Denis Gipuzkoa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Gilabert came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match ARLO FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eric Connor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eric Connor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Gilabert to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Nico Cordero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARLO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, ARLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Gilabert in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 74th minute of the match. Denis Gipuzkoa came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the ARLO FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa. The ARLO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Gipuzkoa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute of play forced ARLO FC's goalkeeper Denis Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. ARLO FC's Denis Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Arias in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, ARLO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Denis Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino scored 4-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
