A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Edvard Kupits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Kaur Vaasna struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Koljala. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Eero Treial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rainer Vanamurd managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Koljala's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainer Vanamurd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JK Koljala made a substitution. Jan Rääk replaced Taavet Kilk. In the 80th minute Edvard Kupits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, Edvard Kupits tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuno Viru got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. JK Koljala's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
