The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eero Treial made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. JK Koljala's Eero Treial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaur Vaasna in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaur Vaasna in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced JK Koljala's goalkeeper Eero Treial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Treial having to interfere. Eero Treial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Kaur Vaasna sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvard Kupits made a kick off. After a rather tough play, JK Koljala's Kaur Vaasna got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eero Treial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eero Treial, passed just outside the right post. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eero Treial was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for JK Koljala through an amazing save. After 58 minutes JK Koljala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Treial having to interfere. JK Koljala's Eero Treial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 62nd minute of play. Härmo Redi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. JK Koljala's Kuno Viru was substituted for Kaur Vaasna. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eero Treial firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after JK Koljala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JK Koljala's goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JK Koljala's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janari Õunapuu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, JK Koljala's Maarek Ernesaks got a free kick in the 84th minute. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eero Treial didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eero Treial. That made the score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eero Treial showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Härmo Redi in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When JK Koljala's Kuno Viru in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Janari Õunapuu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The JK Koljala supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
