Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Major. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Trzebczyk players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Julian Liermann made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Trzebczyk's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Major came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Pilsudski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Maciej Galaska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Julian Liermann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Trzebczyk's Mateusz Budacz got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Trzebczyk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Roch Major stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Trzebczyk's Roch Major played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Karol Pilsudski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play forced Trzebczyk's goalkeeper Roch Major to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roch Major prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Liermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Liermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trzebczyk made a substitution. Bartlomiej Marud replaced Roch Zawada. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Major saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Sitko came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roch Major, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Trzebczyk played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
