Francisco Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bulldogs F.C's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Túlio Maravilha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bulldogs F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 陈奕宽 in the 16th minute. A nice corner shot did that 陈奕宽 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes into the match, Bulldogs F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Francisco Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Medero Jordo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Medero Jordo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Medero Jordo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Bulldogs F.C's goalkeeper. After some careless play in the Bulldogs F.C defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Borges. The Bulldogs F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Borges should have stopped the shot. Alexandre Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Alexandre Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 47th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 陈奕宽 hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Francisco Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A collision led to Bulldogs F.C getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. 陈奕宽 hit a great ball. Francisco Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of the match. Francisco Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes Bulldogs F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francisco Borges in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Borges having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Maravilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Matej Dupal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francisco Borges was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Bulldogs F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Francisco Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes Bulldogs F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Francisco Borges made a huge save. Ecuador played a much better game than Bulldogs F.C and deserved their victory. The Bulldogs F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
