In the 27th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Gdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Hieronim Gdowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Hieronim Gdowski in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 84th minute of play forced Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 85th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Nowak in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Hieronim Gdowski in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
