Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvano Hondo kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 4th minute of play forced MarDel's goalkeeper Matias Cordarrol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Marco Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matias Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Gonchan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Hondo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, MarDel's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Matias Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Hondo in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Matias Cordarrol. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Silvano Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gaston Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
