Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Zoccali in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes A.S. Udinese's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. Jacob May made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili managed to reach the ball for a save. Cassius Byrne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Alvaro Rotili skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Maranzano in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Alessio Zoccali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bottone in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Cassius Byrne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Rotili. The goal made the score 1-0. Alvaro Rotili made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A.S. Udinese's Tom Pervik was substituted for Bruno Maranzano. If Alexander Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob May didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S. Udinese's Augusto Clemente was substituted for Cristiano Paolucci. In the 62nd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob May to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Falasca. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Di Franco in the 69th minute of play. USA's Monty Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Campbell in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Rotili saved A.S. Udinese from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sam Campbell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Rotili was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When USA's Jenson Smith in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.S.
