Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronim Gdowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Gilmar Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Gilmar Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Hieronim Gdowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Hieronim Gdowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hieronim Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W. Hieronim Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Hieronim Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Couto in the 54th minute of the match. Gilmar Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Couto ran back to his position shaking his head.
