Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Mero in the 4th minute of play. Åge Thodesen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Olo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Mero in the 16th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 31st minute of play forced Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Åge Thodesen made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Alejandro Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alonso Berganza was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Pinocho Pelotari F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Alejandro Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Terciero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Olo came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Nontas Iordanidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Alejandro Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 74th minute of the match. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Alejandro Terciero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 77 minutes into the match, Adan Ondino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Ondino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Olo in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 84th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Olo in the 86th minute of play. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Terciero. Alejandro Terciero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. After 96 minutes Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Alejandro Terciero did a great save. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pinocho Pelotari F.C..
