Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Macias got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot 2 in the game by Joel Macias from a close distance when the talented Marcos Cotilla managed to make a qualified save. Panama's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Diego Eterno's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Santikurtz came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Santikurtz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Jose Carita made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dylan Sarmiento. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Santikurtz saved Diego Eterno from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play forced Diego Eterno's goalkeeper Modesto Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Santikurtz. Modesto Santikurtz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 27 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. In the 28th minute of the match Wei Liang Qian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Modesto Santikurtz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Miralles's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Joel Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Jairo Kiliz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goalkeeper Modesto Santikurtz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Miralles. After 53 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Diego Eterno players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Matthew Garrido almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz did a great save. Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Bello Tajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Wei Liang Qian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diego Eterno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wei Liang Qian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Panama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
