USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigio Mattin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Joaquin Montel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of USA booed when Bochin club La Palmera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xalbador Vigalondo in the 9th minute of the match. Bochin club La Palmera's Xalbador Vigalondo managed to work through USA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Xalbador Vigalondo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bochin club La Palmera's Dario Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play. Dario Jacindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of the match. Bochin club La Palmera's Xalbador Vigalondo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bochin club La Palmera getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Oliver Ekblom hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 27th minute of play forced Bochin club La Palmera's goalkeeper Dario Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Bochin club La Palmera's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Dario Jacindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, USA's Koby Fletcher got a free kick in the 47th minute. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Remigio Mattin sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Bochin club La Palmera's Dario Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dario Jacindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dario Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 61st minute of play. USA's Monty Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bochin club La Palmera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monty Rogers was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play forced Bochin club La Palmera's goalkeeper Dario Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xalbador Vigalondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Ciriaco Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. In the 79th match minute, Bochin club La Palmera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Fernanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Dario Jacindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jenson Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Jacindo quite easily take care of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Bochin club La Palmera's goalkeeper Dario Jacindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Johans in the 95th minute of play.
