When Jonathan Alphonse fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Jonathan Alphonse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Jonathan Alphonse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haiti's Ernso Constant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan-Erik Norström in the 9 minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Norström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Ernso Constant quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Felix Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Haiti's Gesner Philippe got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Holm SK's Kevin Kilström got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Haiti booed when Holm SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gesner Philippe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raymond Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Holm SK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Andreas Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Åström came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ernso Constant hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Saint Jean Pierre got a free kick in the 42nd minute. It was beautiful to see Holm SK's Kevin Kilström in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Jonathan Alphonse came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Alphonse couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Axel Uggla with Jan-Erik Norström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Henric Benet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonathan Alphonse came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Alphonse couldn't finish the play. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes in the game Axel Uggla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Andy Molin. In the 70th minute, Henric Benet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Haiti's Saint Jean Pierre suffered a concussion in the 79th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Haiti made a substitution. Esaie Hyppolite replaced Saint Jean Pierre. In the 81st minute, Alf Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gesner Philippe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Lundqvist was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Jonathan Alphonse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Alphonse really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Haiti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holm SK.
