Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Douglas Douglas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andy Neeskens who took care of the corner kick. Gabriel Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of the match. Eliazar Ungia struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kfc Moerbeke-Waas. Gabriel Ladio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Kfc Moerbeke-Waas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jacky Sproten hit a great ball. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Gabriel Ladio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Kfc Moerbeke-Waas from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 27 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Ladio managed to make a qualified save. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Gabriel Ladio in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bogaerts in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The audience was convinced that Eliazar Ungia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Andy Neeskens got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliazar Ungia in the 44th minute of play.

Gabriel Ladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 63rd minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Andy Neeskens got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Helge Vallengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Helge Vallengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Gabriel Ladio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliazar Ungia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas made a substitution. Giles Schockaert replaced Julius Bogaerts. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Vallengren came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Rutten to maneuver through the defense. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Manu Portmans was substituted for Anacleto Indartsu. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kfc Moerbeke-Waas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Rutten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
