In the 94th minute of the game, Benedykt Saint landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Alfredo Rocchi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.
