Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Persson in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Erik Persson. In the 16th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Lama was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 26th minute of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 28th minute of play. Veth Crystals's Marcos Lama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Veth Crystals from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marcos Lama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 44th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Lama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Pedro Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwidon Patora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. Carlos-Armando Valderrama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Persson in the 72nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Lama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Wierzchowski in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Lama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Lama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Marcos Lama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Gwidon Patora took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it.
