The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lei Xiao Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 44th minute of the match. Raphael Moore made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Fernet Branca's Lei Xiao Jian. After 47 minutes, Lei Xiao Jian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Fernet Branca and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The referee gave Lei Xiao Jian a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Kenney Coveliers was substituted for Yetkin Emek. In the 68th match minute, Sportivo Fernet Branca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lei Xiao Jian to maneuver through the defense.
