Albano Oliverio took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nestor Mikeldi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind BWANA FC's goalkeeper Nestor Mikeldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Iliana in the 16th minute of play. Nestor Mikeldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. Lino Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Oliverio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Albano Oliverio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Aquiles Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BWANA FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingos Jusepe took the corner. BWANA FC's Domingos Jusepe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Mikeldi having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Cristobal Iliana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BWANA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after BWANA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nestor Mikeldi quite easily take care of the ball. Nestor Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to BWANA FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Simon Suarez hit a great ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BWANA FC's goalie prevented a goal. BWANA FC's Nestor Mikeldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Mikeldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th match minute, BWANA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BWANA FC. Nestor Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Mikeldi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Mikeldi having to interfere. Cristobal Iliana hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
