The supporters of Ecuador booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Herauso charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Herauso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bernabe Herauso hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Loco. The Quebrachitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Loco should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Alex Sarr scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-1. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. Gualterio Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Celedonio Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gualterio Loco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Gualterio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. Gualterio Loco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gualterio Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Quebrachitos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco managed to reach the ball for a save. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualterio Loco. Gualterio Loco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Loco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 82 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Gualterio Loco managed to make a qualified save. Quebrachitos FC's players were relieved. After 83 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Harriet. 85 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco. Gualterio Loco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gualterio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Tadeo Mannie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Tadeo Mannie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quebrachitos FC.
