Celso Lauren made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fulgencio Urki. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Moises Gayoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Gayoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walery Bejger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walery Bejger. INFIERNO KSK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Walery Bejger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milagros Fraga went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes of play, Peru's Milagros Fraga made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walery Bejger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Cresitobalo got free with Rolando Noboa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Dirk Toeback's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Toeback in the 38th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. Walery Bejger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 48th minute of play. In the 49th minute of the match Peru got a corner. INFIERNO KSK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 65 minutes into the match, INFIERNO KSK's goalkeeper Walery Bejger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. After having played for 71 minutes, Uriel Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INFIERNO KSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Astudillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Walery Bejger to make any attempt to save it. INFIERNO KSK's Fred Vanderhaege was substituted for Fulgencio Urki. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walery Bejger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Walery Bejger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. The supporters of INFIERNO KSK booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the INFIERNO KSK defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walery Bejger. The INFIERNO KSK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Bejger should have stopped the shot. Walery Bejger was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
