Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Domingues in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 14th minute of play forced MAKRO's goalkeeper Gaizkine Nobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Correia hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, MAKRO's goalkeeper Gaizkine Nobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Gaizkine Nobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MAKRO's Germano Domingues got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Wladyslaw Pozorski kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, MAKRO's Gaizkine Nobo got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaizkine Nobo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaizkine Nobo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 38th minute of play forced MAKRO's goalkeeper Gaizkine Nobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Peru in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Peru to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 50th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when MAKRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaizkine Nobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Konrad Basinski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Wladyslaw Pozorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when MAKRO's Wladyslaw Pozorski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. MAKRO's Wladyslaw Pozorski got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, MAKRO's Karsten Telkamp got a free kick in the 76th minute. Wladyslaw Pozorski took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Maximiliano Escribano scored 2-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaizkine Nobo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. After 93 played minutes MAKRO got a freekick which was hit by João Mario. After a rather tough play, MAKRO's Victorino Peru got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Uruguay fans cheered their team off the field, for while MAKRO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
