Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Danail Mitzakov made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Jing Yue in the 4th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maritza's zone, Antonio Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danail Mitzakov came out of the goal and Antonio Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Miladin Bikarski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maritza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Maritza's goalkeeper Danail Mitzakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Jing Yue in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Danail Mitzakov. Maritza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Jing Yue in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Zeng Jing Yue ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Danail Mitzakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Marin Nikolkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Hubina in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Zoltán Hubina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Jing Yue, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeng Jing Yue got free with Julio Vera in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maritza's Danail Mitzakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Danail Mitzakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maritza's Danail Mitzakov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Nencho Markovski. A hard shot 70 in the game by Marin Nikolkov from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Danail Mitzakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lu Jun Ang hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeng Jing Yue in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Saelices scored 3-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danail Mitzakov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Hubina in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Maritza booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
