Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguinhas's Albérico Neto. But to his dismay, Albérico Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aguinhas's Albérico Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Aguinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faudel Gaume to maneuver through the defense. After 11 minutes Aguinhas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 16 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Walmyr Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Renato Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walmyr Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Albérico Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jardel de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Albérico Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walmyr Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aguinhas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Walmyr Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Albérico Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albérico Neto in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Txerran.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albérico Neto made a kick off. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Queirós having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Albérico Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Aguinhas's Walmyr Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Aguinhas from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Mazarópi Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aguinhas's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Queirós came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Walmyr Queirós successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 78 minutes of play, Aguinhas's Mazarópi Orange made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Walmyr Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 82nd minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Walmyr Queirós. Aguinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. Aguinhas's Jardel de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Queirós having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazarópi Orange in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Aguinhas's Mazarópi Orange made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aguinhas.
