Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Bateman kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Chris Bateman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Yoel Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Chris Bateman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Yoel Quevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Chris Bateman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoel Quevedo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Chris Bateman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Recolta Alamor were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Yoel Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Chris Bateman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Theodore Cagle got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Recolta Alamor made a substitution. Norman Donnelly replaced Chris Bateman. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Norman Donnelly who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brandon Newby made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. 84 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Norman Donnelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Norman Donnelly cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Recolta Alamor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
