Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tirso Durango kicked off to start the match. Mariano Lacasa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Cezary Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Linterna verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezary Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. Chile's Francisco Carballar got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Jolis having to make a save. Tomasz Nienajadlo made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cezary Lewandowski immediately put the ball in play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Piquero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Linterna verde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Guillermo Fontirroig heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 47 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Nienajadlo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Linterna verde's Siro Jolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. Siro Jolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Jolis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Jolis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alan Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Linterna verde's Eate Urguia was substituted for Cezary Lewandowski. In the 67th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Siro Jolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Tirso Durango tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Jolis having to make a save. In the 75th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Jolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eate Urguia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Donostia Aragones. Eate Urguia took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 84 minutes of play, Linterna verde's Tirso Durango made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Siro Jolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Jimeno Piquero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linterna verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 95th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Jolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
