Alex Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Tavares hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Finlay Stair struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Saidi Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. Jamaall Padmore kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Serra da Vila's goalkeeper Saidi Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jamaica's Finlay Stair in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GD Serra da Vila's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastião Paião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saidi Costa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jarell Hill sent off a good shot on target. GD Serra da Vila's attentive David Torcato managed to snatch the ball when Leron Sale made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Jarell Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Saidi Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GD Serra da Vila's zone, Kordal Duff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saidi Costa came out of the goal and Kordal Duff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leron Sale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamaica's Finlay Stair got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarell Hill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saidi Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jamaica's Finlay Stair in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GD Serra da Vila's goalie prevented a goal. Romon Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saidi Costa having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Finlay Stair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Finlay Stair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Finlay Stair to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Jamaica were awarded a corner. Finlay Stair went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Finlay Stair got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saidi Costa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56th minute, David Torcato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Kordal Duff in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GD Serra da Vila's Angelo Bessa. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Romon Oliver hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Jamaall Padmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Angelo Bessa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saidi Costa having to interfere. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from Leron Sale in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GD Serra da Vila's David Torcato. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
