ATHLETICO PRaiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 8 minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sílvio Pires quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute, Esteban Carvallo made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Pires. ATHLETICO PRaiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute of play. Sílvio Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Sílvio Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Pires was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. With his leg Sílvio Pires managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sílvio Pires stood somewhat misplaced when Edmundo Espiga came free in front of goal and shot 0-13 to the left of him in the 83 minute. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Eusébio Tepedino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Milagros Cabal in the 88 minute of the game. Sílvio Pires was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 95 minute of play. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
