Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteve Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Boni in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cristofor in the 5th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Loco Cabezon's Enrique Cristofor, in the 6th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Loco Cabezon. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cristofor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Enrique Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leonides Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Esteve Perico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteve Perico went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Loco Cabezon players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. If Rogelio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Perico in the 38th minute of play. Loco Cabezon's Modesto Boni got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Jose Eleder sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Abajas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Loco Cabezon booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th match minute, Loco Cabezon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Abajas to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Leonides Galtero in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Secada in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Rogelio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Abajas in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Eleder was slow to take the kick. During this time Loco Cabezon's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Loco Cabezon's Jose Eleder to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Modesto Boni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Galtero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loco Cabezon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
