Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Sílvio Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Pires. 17 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Sílvio Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Pires saved ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires. Sílvio Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Sílvio Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jackson Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Pires. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 55 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Sílvio Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Pires. ATHLETICO PRaiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. After 63 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. After 68 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Pires. That made the score 0-14 after 72 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Sílvio Pires made a huge save. Sílvio Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Pires. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-16. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sílvio Pires in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 94th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Sílvio Pires threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through a series of nice moves, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig on his own came free in the 96th minute of the match and shot 0-18 behind a disappointed Sílvio Pires. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ATHLETICO PRaiano throughout the match.
