Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berni Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Colonia Taranco FC's Braulio Quilino got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Braulio Quilino made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Colonia Taranco FC's Roberto Pistauer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 18 minute of the game. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Berni Romeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colonia Taranco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Braulio Quilino made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Colonia Taranco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 余迪光 to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braulio Quilino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Braulio Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Quilino was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Quilino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colonia Taranco FC's Alfred Motowski was substituted for Aquiles Elorri. Colonia Taranco FC's Leroy Sane was substituted for Berni Romeo. 69 minutes into the match, Colonia Taranco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Braulio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 70th minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Braulio Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Quilino. Braulio Quilino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 77 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Braulio Quilino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Quilino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 88th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Quilino. Colonia Taranco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Colonia Taranco FC's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Quilino came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Sane got free with Dante Lacasa in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
