Atay Arpacıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Severino Mangueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 1-0. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Atay Arpacıoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caetite FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 44th minute of the match, Severino Mangueira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 59 minutes of play, Caetite FC's Atay Arpacıoğlu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arthur Fernandes, made in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 70th minute Severino Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
