Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Corneliu Dridu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 3rd minute. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omid Kaulbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omid Kaulbach in the 9th minute of play. Celso Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Trevisan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Romero's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Romero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of USA booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Domingos Da Guía got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Celso Trevisan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Ma Wei Jun kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Omid Kaulbach's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omid Kaulbach helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omid Kaulbach to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Válbson Batista hit a great ball. Celso Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match USA got a corner. Dr Lecter SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cassius Byrne made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneliu Dridu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Bradley in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Wes Vranx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Dr Lecter SC's Laércio Guedes was substituted for Lauro Antunes. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match USA got a corner. Dr Lecter SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sam Campbell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celso Trevisan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zach Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Trevisan having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Campbell to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match, Laércio Guedes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Day saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
