Cassius Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Alaaddin Solskjær didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Sundström in the 28th minute. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Alaaddin Solskjær stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Sundström got free with Marco Day in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Kurdistan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Sundström to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Edward Mcdonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Zach Harrison came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alaaddin Solskjær had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zach Harrison from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, USA's Edward Mcdonald got a free kick in the 57th minute. The nice shot from Cassius Byrne in the 61stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alaaddin Solskjær had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. After some careless play in the FC Kurdistan defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær. The FC Kurdistan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alaaddin Solskjær should have stopped the shot. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Jörgen Levander replaced Fredric Hybbert. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 78 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubaldo Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Levander came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Alaaddin Solskjær made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
