Denílson Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. 13 minutes into the game, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Deilmison van Basten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deilmison van Basten to make the kick off. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 84th minute of play. Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deilmison van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Unax Mudarra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save.
