Emanuele Bartolomucci was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestra14's players had a chance to rest. Palestra14's Emanuele Bartolomucci was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cain Vieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cain Vieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Fioriti in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Fausto Fioriti made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attilio Torelli in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Attilio Penna made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Attilio Torelli. The Palestra14 fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Palestra14's Cain Vieri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fausto Fioriti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Fioriti went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cain Vieri in the 72nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cain Vieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 79 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book.
