Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Grocholski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Slawomir Sierocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wladyslaw Fudalej in the 32nd minute. Adam Grocholski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KTH Krynica's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Grocholski came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wladyslaw Fudalej succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 46th playminute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, KTH Krynica's Wladyslaw Fudalej nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, KTH Krynica's Tolek Wojno got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Slawomir Sierocki fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KTH Krynica's protests and gave Slawomir Sierocki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Slawomir Sierocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arkadiusz Jarosiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. KTH Krynica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
