Louis Vieweg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Beto Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Friedrich Hannemann's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Waldemar Passos scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louis Vieweg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per Stiig Schui took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Souto. Beto Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 20th match minute, Nankatsu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Stiig Schui to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lunáticos FC's Beto Souto got control of the ball when Per Stiig Schui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rico Laschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nankatsu SC booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Friedrich Hannemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nankatsu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Friedrich Hannemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anísio da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedrich Hannemann in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beto Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lunáticos FC's Beto Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Lunáticos FC from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Rico Laschke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beto Souto. Lunáticos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rico Laschke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Lunáticos FC's Beto Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Lunáticos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute of the game Waldemar Passos made a throw-in which Edu Camargo played forward. Louis Vieweg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Waldemar Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.
Nankatsu SC's Per Stiig Schui got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Friedrich Hannemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Beto Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rico Laschke in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Souto saved Lunáticos FC from getting behind. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Beto Souto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lunáticos FC's Beto Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Hannemann in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Waldemar Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunáticos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nankatsu SC the free kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Friedrich Hannemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A very good chance. Oswaldo Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Per Stiig Schui took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Souto.
