In the 10th minute Vennard Sundoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, f.c. sKRotone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Di Vincenzo to maneuver through the defense. Vennard Sundoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute of the match Ercole Gagliano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu da Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Lunáticos FC defense, Cosimo Fabrizi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cafu da Fonseca. The Lunáticos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cafu da Fonseca should have stopped the shot. If Vennard Sundoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 31 minutes, Vennard Sundoro made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Lunáticos FC's Cafu da Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Oswaldo Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taavetti Noponen might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu da Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taavetti Noponen ran back to his position shaking his head. The f.c. sKRotone fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when f.c. sKRotone's Vennard Sundoro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of f.c. sKRotone booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Cosimo Fabrizi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oséas Xavier was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Vennard Sundoro put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Cafu da Fonseca. Vennard Sundoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cafu da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafu da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Cafu da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Fabrizi in the 82nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-14 when Cosimo Fabrizi sped through Lunáticos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cafu da Fonseca. Vennard Sundoro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Cafu da Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vennard Sundoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-17 in the 97 minute of play.
